Founded in 2012, Access International School has helped transform communities in Aley, Lebanon and beyond. The motto of the school is BEAUTIFUL EDUCATION.  How can education be beautiful? It can be beautiful when it produces love from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and a sincere faith. This is well beyond stuffing heads with knowledge; it requires transformed classrooms, working both in the teacher and in the students. Ultimately, this transformation is reaching the parents and families as well.

Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

We come alongside people who are serious about living a life transformed by Jesus Christ in their own community. We help them develop a small business to produce income for their family, send their children to school, and whatever else healthy communities require. We provide hands on training, support, and in some cases financing to entrepreneurs. Some of our projects include:

  1. carpentry.
  2. farming.
  3. soap making.
  4. dairy production.
  5. catering.
  6. translation and business services.

Our development projects help retain hard working people, essential for building godly Jesus-centered communities in the Middle East. Most young men and women seeking employment have to migrate to Dubai or to Europe, unless they can earn enough income to stay in their own country.

We are dedicated to a long-term holistic approach to training individuals and groups to be leaders. Our leadership training is Jesus-centered and covers four elements: Spiritual Formation, Character, Skills, and Experience. We use formal classroom instruction combined with residential internships to inform, inspire, and equip adults for life-long service in transformed communities.

Topics of instruction include: Discipleship, Bible Study Methods, Theology, Team Dynamics, Cross-cultural leadership, Inner healing and deliverance, marriage and family, apologetics, and financial management.

In winter 2013 hundreds of thousands of displaced Syrians came to Lebanon to escape the ravages of war in their hometowns.  The UN reports that as of March 2016, 1,050,000 Syrian refugees in Lebanon alone are registered with them.  The actual number is much higher because many have not registered with the UN.
Many came with just the clothes on their backs.  Our first response to the flood of refugees in our immediate area was to focus on meeting their immediate needs for food, warm clothing, and heating in their shelters. The first year we distributed over $100,000 worth of supplies.  In 2015, these families became more settled and the UN stepped in with food and medical aid for families.
The needs of Syrian refugees in Lebanon began to shift to long term issues, like jobs, training, and education for their children. In response to these new needs we began to provide education for the children and jobs for many adults.  Over the past two years we distributed over $150,000 in financial aid for school tuition to needy families who want to provide good education to their children.
